Apex Ammunition Predator Features The Apex Ammunition Predator TSS shotshell is loaded in 12 GA-3.5 with a blended #2 and #4 tungsten super shot payload weighing 2.5 oz. Tungsten super shot is significantly denser than steel or lead which means smaller pellets retain more energy and penetrate deeper at extended range. That density advantage lets hunters reach farther on predators and hogs than conventional steel loads allow. A muzzle velocity around 1175 feet per second keeps the payload moving with authority downrange. This load is purpose-built for hunters who need a shotshell capable of handling tough heavily muscled game at the end of the barrel. The 2.5 oz payload packs a dense pattern of pellets that increases the odds of multiple solid hits per shot. Predator and big game hunters running a 3.5 inch chambered shotgun gain a load engineered specifically for that demanding role. The Apex Ammunition Predator TSS gives hunters confidence that their shotgun can reach out and put down tough game cleanly.
