Apex Ammunition Ninja Features The Apex Ammunition Ninja load is built around tungsten super shot a material significantly denser than traditional lead shot which lets a 9.5 size pellet carry more energy downrange than a larger lead pellet would. That density advantage means tighter more consistent patterns at the longer ranges turkey hunters often have to work with. The 7/8 ounce payload inside the 3 inch .410 hull is tuned to maximize pellet count without overloading the shell for a sub gauge platform. Hunters running .410 turkey guns get performance that was once reserved for 12 and 20 gauge loads. Packaged five rounds to a box this shell is intended for hunters who want a dedicated high performance load rather than a bulk range round. The tungsten super shot formulation is engineered specifically for turkey hunting where pattern density around the head and neck is what matters most. Because the .410 platform already carries less recoil than larger gauges pairing it with TSS lets hunters use a lighter more maneuverable gun without giving up lethality. This load suits turkey hunters looking to push their sub gauge setup to its full potential.
