Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod Features The Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod is constructed as a durable one-piece rod from premium carbon material offering strength without the flex or breakage risk that can come with lesser materials. Dual ball bearings built into the rod allow it to rotate freely as it follows the rifling inside the bore rather than dragging a patch or brush against the grain of the rifling. This rotation helps the rod track more naturally through the bore reducing wear on both the rod and the rifle s crown over repeated cleanings. A perfect fit aluminum handle gives the user a comfortable secure grip for consistent control during each cleaning pass. Sized at 44 inches the rod is designed for calibers ranging from .22 to .264 giving rifle owners the extended reach needed to clean longer barrels from breech to muzzle in a single pass. The Black and Red finish gives the rod a distinctive look while standing up to regular handling in a cleaning kit. Birchwood Casey has built shooting and gun care products since 1948 and this rod reflects that long-standing commitment to quality and durability. For rifle owners in the .22 through .264 caliber range who want a dependable rotating cleaning rod the Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod is a solid addition to any cleaning kit.
