Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod Features The Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod is constructed as a single piece carbon rod a design choice that eliminates the joints and connection points that can flex or snag inside a barrel. Covering calibers from .22 up to .264 the 30 inch length gives shooters enough reach to clean a wide range of rifle bores from breach to muzzle without needing multiple rod sizes. Premium carbon construction provides the strength and durability needed for repeated cleaning sessions without excessive wear on the rod itself. This focus on durability reflects Birchwood Casey s long history of building gun care products meant to last. A perfect fit aluminum handle gives the rod a comfortable controlled grip during use which helps shooters apply consistent even pressure through each pass of the bore. Dual ball bearings allow the carbon rod to rotate freely as it travels down the barrel letting a brush or jag follow the rifling naturally instead of binding against it. This rotation reduces strain on both the rod and the bore helping preserve accuracy over the life of the firearm. Since 1948 Birchwood Casey has built a reputation among serious shooters and gunsmiths for quality gun care products and this cleaning rod continues that tradition of dependable performance.
