Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 runs a direct impingement gas system through a 7.5 heavy barrel with a 1:8 twist rate giving it the ability to stabilize a wide range of .223 Wylde bullet weights for both range and defensive use. The Black Nitride barrel finish resists corrosion and wear from repeated firing and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a compensator or suppressor for shooters who want to manage recoil or sound signature. The billet aluminum upper and lower receivers are cut with M4 feed ramps for reliable cycling and the RMR-footprint optic cut on the slide-style upper lets shooters mount a red dot directly. This pistol is built to run hard in a compact defensive package. The 7 M-LOK handguard provides plenty of real estate for lights foregrips and slings while keeping the overall footprint of the pistol short and maneuverable. A Mil-Spec grip and buffer tube keep the controls familiar to any AR shooter easing the transition from a full-size rifle to this pistol configuration. The Black Splatter Cerakote finish over the aluminum receiver adds a distinctive look while protecting the metal from the elements. The GL15 ships complete with a 30-round magazine so shooters are ready to run it straight out of the box. This pistol is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a rugged ready-to-run AR pistol.
