Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL-15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL-15 pistol is built on a billet 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver chambered in .300 AAC Blackout for a compact platform with serious close-range performance. Its 7.5 barrel is machined from 4150 CRMOV steel with a nitride finish and a 1:8 twist rate tuned to stabilize both supersonic and subsonic .300 Blackout loads. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle and .750 gas block support a wide range of muzzle devices giving shooters flexibility to add a brake comp or suppressor for tailored recoil control and sound management. M4 feed ramps help ensure smooth reliable feeding from the included 30-round magazine so the pistol runs consistently across a range of .300 Blackout loads and shooting conditions. A 7.125 M-LOK handguard provides mounting space for lights lasers and other accessories while keeping the overall package lightweight and maneuverable in tight spaces. The pistol ships with a GForce Arms Adjustable Ace of Brace GFAB001 giving shooters a stabilizing brace ready for use out of the box without the need to source and fit aftermarket furniture. Tungsten Cerakote finishes both the upper and lower offering a durable corrosion-resistant look that also helps mask wear from regular range use and field carry. Made in the USA the billet receiver set and match-grade barrel work together to deliver a rigid well-fitted platform that holds tolerances better than a forged equivalent.
