Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is built around a 7.5 inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist rate chambered in .223 Wylde so it can safely cycle both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO loads. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished with a muzzle brake designed to sit six degrees forward for improved control. A 0.750 gas block and M4 feed ramps support reliable cycling while the billet 7075 aluminum lower and forged aluminum upper keep the receiver set strong and lightweight. The 7.125 inch M-LOK handguard with a full length top Picatinny rail gives shooters room to mount lights optics and other accessories. Finished in a vivid Wild Orchid Cerakote this GL15 stands out visually while the Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance and durability for regular range use. The pistol ships with a G-Force Ace of Brace adjustable five-position brace letting shooters customize their point of contact for better stability. A milspec trigger breaking between 5.5 and 6 pounds offers a consistent familiar feel for AR pattern shooters. The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Wild Orchid is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a lightweight visually distinctive AR pistol built on a reliable .223 Wylde platform.
