Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition AR-15 Pistol Features The Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition AR-15 Pistol is built around a 7.5 inch heavy barrel machined with a 1:8 twist rate chambered in .223 Wylde so it can safely digest both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO loads without sacrificing accuracy. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a forward-mounted muzzle brake angled six degrees and wrench tightened which helps tame muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. A 0.750 gas block paired with a pistol-length gas tube regulates the semi-automatic action while M4 feed ramps on the 7075 aluminum upper receiver smooth feeding from the included 30-round magazine. The milspec trigger breaks between 5.5 and 6 pounds giving shooters a familiar predictable pull for both range work and personal defense applications. The Blue Titanium Cerakote finish covers the aluminum 7075 upper and lower receivers delivering a durable corrosion-resistant coating that also sets this pistol apart visually from a standard black build. A 7.125 inch M-LOK aluminum handguard runs the length of the gas system and connects to a full Picatinny top rail so the platform is optics ready right out of the box for a red dot or magnifier. The polymer milspec grip keeps the controls familiar to anyone who has handled an AR-pattern firearm and the pistol buffer tube is included so the shooter can add their own brace setup. At 23.5 inches overall and roughly 5 pounds this AR-15 pistol from Great Lakes Firearms is a compact Picatinny-ready package for sale at GrabAGun suited to range use home defense and anyone wanting a maneuverable AR pistol build.
