Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 is built around a billet upper and lower receiver set chambered in .223 Wylde giving shooters the ability to safely run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without compromise. The 7.5 heavy barrel or HBAR profile is cut on a 1:8 twist to stabilize a wide range of bullet weights and the pistol-length gas system with .750 gas block keeps the action running reliably at this shortened barrel length. M4 feed ramps improve feeding consistency from a variety of magazine types. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 accepting standard muzzle devices for recoil management. The 7 M-LOK aluminum handguard provides a lightweight free-floating platform for mounting lights grips or other accessories without adding excessive bulk to the compact pistol. Finished in a striking Zombie Splatter Cerakote pattern this GL15 stands apart visually from the typical black AR pistol while retaining the same durable corrosion-resistant coating properties. At approximately 5 pounds and a 23.5 overall length the pistol remains easy to maneuver in tight spaces or vehicles. Shipping with one 30-round magazine the GL15 gives shooters a ready-to-run package for home defense or recreational shooting.
