Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is chambered in .223 Wylde letting it safely run both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO ammunition through its 7.5 heavy barrel. Built from 416R stainless steel with a 1:8 twist rate the direct impingement barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished with an included muzzle brake to help tame recoil. A billet aluminum 7075 upper and lower receiver finished in White Cerakote houses an M4 feed ramp and a 0.750 gas block for reliable cycling. The full-length Picatinny rail atop the 7.125 M-LOK handguard gives the shooter a stable uninterrupted mounting surface for optics. A G-Force GFAB001 Ace of Brace adjustable five-position pistol brace lets the shooter dial in a comfortable length of pull while the Mil-Spec polymer grip and 5.5 to 6 lb trigger pull keep handling familiar. The pistol ships with one 30-round magazine and weighs approximately 5 lbs for easy maneuverability. At an overall length of 23.5 the GL15 stays compact enough for close-quarters use while retaining the accuracy of a longer barrel profile. The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is available for sale at GrabAGun for right-handed shooters seeking a versatile dual-caliber capable AR pistol.
