Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is built on a semi-automatic direct impingement action feeding through a heavy 7.5-inch barrel machined from either 416R stainless steel or 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and nitride finished for durability. A 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .223 Wylde-compatible bullet weights giving the compact pistol reliable accuracy despite its shortened barrel length. The 0.750-inch gas block feeds a pistol-length gas system and the muzzle brake mounted to the 1/2x28 threaded barrel is designed to reduce muzzle rise from the short-barreled setup. A mil-spec trigger with a 5.5 to 6-pound pull provides a familiar dependable break for shooters coming from other AR platforms. Machined from billet 7075 aluminum the upper and lower receivers are finished in a distinctive Tungsten Cerakote coating that resists wear and corrosion over hard use. The 7.125-inch M-LOK handguard includes a full-length top Picatinny rail for mounting optics and additional M-LOK slots support lights lasers or a foregrip. An adjustable G-Force GFAB001 Ace of Brace pistol brace offers five positions to fit different shooters while the mil-spec polymer grip keeps the overall package lightweight. Weighing 5 pounds and fed by a 30-round magazine the Great Lakes GL15 delivers a compact versatile AR pistol for sale at GrabAGun.
