Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 runs on a direct impingement gas system fed through a .750 gas block and pistol-length gas tube cycling reliably across a range of .223 Wylde and 5.56 loads. The 30-round polymer AR-style magazine keeps the pistol fed for extended range sessions and the M4 feed ramps smooth cartridge feeding under rapid fire. An integrated muzzle brake wrench-tightened without Loctite and angled six degrees forward tames muzzle rise and keeps the sight picture on target between shots. The direct impingement system paired with the heavy 416R stainless barrel gives the GL15 the accuracy and reliability shooters expect from a serious AR pistol build. Ergonomics center on a mil-spec polymer pistol grip and a mil-spec trigger group housed in a billet aluminum lower giving the GL15 familiar AR-15 controls for anyone transitioning from a rifle platform. The 7.125 M-LOK handguard accepts lights foregrips and slings anywhere along its rail sections and the full top Picatinny rail spans the receiver for a red dot or magnified optic setup. At an overall length of 23.5 and a weight of 5 pounds the pistol stays light and maneuverable for close-quarters use or truck-gun duty. The GL15 ships complete with one magazine and the adjustable Ace of Brace pistol brace giving buyers a ready-to-run package for personal defense or recreational shooting at GrabAGun.
