"Women's Altra® Torin 9: The Women's Altra Torin 9 is a neutral road running shoe built for daily training miles and long runs where cushioning and a natural foot feel matter. Altra's P35X™ dual density foam sits at the core of the ride - firmer on the outside for stability, softer on the inside for cushioning - so the shoe feels supportive underfoot without going stiff. The FootShape™ toe box gives your toes room to spread naturally, which adds to the stable, grounded feel that Altra runners tend to appreciate. With a zero drop platform - equal stack height in the heel and forefoot - the Torin 9 encourages a natural stride and foot position across every mile. The updated breathable mesh upper features elevated tongue details and a redesigned heel shape that make the shoe feel secure and comfortable from the first step. The Vibram® XS Run AW rubber outsole delivers reliable grip on road surfaces, and at 8.05 ounces, the shoe stays light enough to feel easy on your feet through longer efforts. Whether you're building a base, logging easy miles, or just putting in consistent road work, the Torin 9 gives you a cushioned, well-balanced ride without overcomplicating things. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the Torin 9 on a longer easy run and really noticed how the foam balanced cushioning and support - it felt soft where I needed it without any of that mushy, unstable feeling.
