Anschutz 1761 HB Features The Anschutz 1761 HB is built on the proven 1761 bolt action repeater system long respected among rimfire shooters for its smooth cycling and tight tolerances. Chambered in 17 HMR the rifle is paired with an 18 inch heavy barrel threaded 1/2x28 giving the option to add a suppressor or muzzle device for quieter range sessions or pest control work. A 1:9 inch twist rate is matched to stabilize 17 HMR bullets for consistent accuracy at extended rimfire distances. The 5061 two stage light trigger offers a defined take-up stage followed by a crisp light break helping shooters achieve tighter groups through better trigger control. The rifle s classic stock is crafted from walnut giving it a traditional appearance that pairs well with its precision rimfire pedigree. A blued metal finish protects the action and barrel while maintaining the rifle s classic look. Holding 5 rounds in its magazine the 1761 HB is well suited to both range plinking and small game hunting applications. At 6.17 pounds the Anschutz 1761 HB balances well for offhand shooting while remaining a serious option for shooters who demand accuracy from their rimfire rifle.
