Anschutz 1761 MPR Features The Anschutz 1761 MPR runs on the 1761 bolt action repeater system a design built around smooth repeatable cycling for serious 22 LR shooters. A blued metal finish over the receiver and 21.4 heavy barrel gives the rifle a classic durable appearance that resists wear from repeated handling. The barrel s 11mm dovetail at the muzzle end accepts a diopter front sight a setup favored by precision rimfire competitors for its fine aiming reference. A 1:16.5 twist rate is matched to standard 22 LR ammunition to stabilize the bullet through the heavy barrel for consistent accuracy. The 5061 two stage light trigger provides a defined take-up stage followed by a crisp break giving shooters the control needed for precision shot placement. A 5-round magazine capacity keeps the action running during practice and competition without interrupting the shooter s rhythm. The MPR hardwood stock gives the rifle a traditional solid feel while keeping overall weight to a manageable 7.72 lbs for extended range sessions. For precision rimfire shooters and target competitors looking for a purpose-built 22 LR platform the Anschutz 1761 MPR is available for sale at GrabAGun.
