Sierra GameKing Features The Sierra GameKing Tipped line pairs a polymer tip with an open pocket design that allows the lead core to expand instantly and reliably on impact. Sierra s boat tail design stabilizes the 120 grain .264 inch diameter projectile in flight contributing to the flat trajectory and the .466 G1 ballistic coefficient that make this bullet effective well past typical hunting ranges. Developed as a deer and hog bullet for the 6.5 Grendel cartridge the design keeps velocities under the recommended 2800 feet per second ceiling for dependable controlled expansion on medium game. The jacketed lead core construction has made this TGK offering a favorite among the Sierra product line for both AR platform and bolt action rifle shooters. Reloaders working with 6.5 Creedmoor .260 Remington and 6.5x55 Swede cases will find the same flat-shooting dependable expansion that makes the 120 grain GameKing attractive for larger varmints like coyotes where the heavier bullet offers better wind deflection resistance and deeper penetration than lighter options. Packaged 100 to a box this bullet gives handloaders the consistency needed to replicate accurate loads session after session. Whether built into a 6.5 Grendel AR for deer and hog hunting or a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun for varmints the Sierra GameKing 120 grain Tipped bullet is available for sale at GrabAGun.
