Sierra GameKing Features The Sierra GameKing in 30 Cal was built as a true subsonic bullet for the .300 Blackout cartridge where most projectiles struggle to expand reliably at reduced velocities. At 205 grains and a .308 inch diameter the hollow point boat tail design is heavy enough to stay subsonic out of typical Blackout loads while still producing dependable expansion on impact. A G1 ballistic coefficient of .480 helps the bullet retain energy and accuracy at the lower velocities subsonic shooters are working with. The hollow point cavity opens quickly on contact creating the large wound channels needed to put game down efficiently. Each box contains 500 bullets giving dedicated subsonic reloaders plenty of projectiles to fine tune loads for their specific suppressor and barrel combination. The boat tail base helps the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift despite its reduced speed an important trait for ethical shots at extended range. Hunters running suppressed guns will appreciate how much quieter their rifle becomes when paired with a true subsonic load built around this bullet. Sierra s manufacturing consistency means handloaders can expect the same reliable performance from box to box.
