Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing line has set the standard for match grade bullets for decades and this 215 grain .30 caliber offering continues that tradition for long range precision shooting. The hollow point boat tail design reduces base drag during flight helping the bullet hold velocity and resist wind deflection over extended distances. A copper jacket surrounds the lead core contributing to the tight manufacturing tolerances MatchKing bullets are known for. At .308 inch diameter this bullet fits standard .30 caliber rifle chamberings used widely in precision rifle and long range competition circles. Packed 500 to a box this MatchKing bullet is intended strictly as a reloading component rather than a finished loaded cartridge. Handloaders developing heavy-for-caliber .30 caliber loads for extended range work will find the 215 grain weight well suited to maintaining stability and retained energy at distance. Sierra s reputation for consistency bullet to bullet gives competitive shooters confidence that their handloaded ammunition will group predictably.
