Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing line has long been a standard among competitive shooters and this .25 caliber offering continues that reputation with a 131 grain hollow point boat tail bullet. The boat tail design reduces base drag in flight helping the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift over extended distances. A .257 inch diameter matches it to common .25 caliber rifle chamberings used in match and target applications. Consistent bullet to bullet uniformity is a hallmark of the MatchKing line giving handloaders confidence that each round built from this box will perform the same as the last. Packed 250 to a box this bullet is intended strictly as a reloading component not a finished loaded round of ammunition. Handloaders developing a load for match or target shooting will find the hollow point boat tail profile well suited to precision applications where consistent accuracy matters more than terminal performance. Sierra s reputation for tight manufacturing tolerances carries through this .25 caliber MatchKing bullet just as it does across the rest of the line.
