Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing bullet is machined to a .284 inch diameter for 7mm cartridges and weighs 180 grains a combination well suited to the ballistic demands of 7 PRC and similar 7mm chamberings. The hollow point boat tail design reduces drag in flight helping the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift at extended ranges. Sierra s tight manufacturing tolerances on the MatchKing line are built specifically for match and target shooting where shot-to-shot consistency determines competitive results. Handloaders building precision 7mm loads benefit from the reliable ogive and jacket consistency that has made the MatchKing line a long-standing favorite among competitive shooters. Each box contains 500 bullets giving dedicated reloaders a substantial supply for load development and competition use without frequent reordering. As a component projectile this product requires the reloader to supply their own brass powder and primers and it is not sold as finished ammunition. The boat tail profile and hollow point design work together to deliver flat trajectories and dependable expansion characteristics suited to paper targets and steel at distance. The Sierra MatchKing 7mm 180 grain bullet is available for sale at GrabAGun for precision rifle shooters loading for long-range accuracy.
