Sierra V-Crown Features The Sierra V-Crown 9mm load builds on Sierra s world-renowned accuracy with a stacked hollow point bullet design engineered specifically for personal protection. The additional hollow point cavity and locking groove work together to control expansion keeping weight retention at an ideally high level across the bullet s effective velocity range. At 147 grains this bullet is tuned for subsonic performance from cartridges like the 9x19 making it a strong pairing with suppressed handguns and SBR-style firearms. Ballistic coefficients of .162 at 1200 fps and above .220 between 1200 and 930 fps and .165 below 930 fps show the bullet is optimized across its intended velocity window. Each box ships with 100 bullets loaded to a .355 inch diameter and a sectional density of .167 giving shooters ample supply for practice qualification or duty carry loading. The heavier subsonic weight reduces muzzle blast and report when paired with a suppressor an advantage for hunters and tactical shooters alike. Sierra s reputation for consistency means each round in the box performs to the same standard round after round. This 147 grain V-Crown JHP load is a solid choice for defensive-minded 9mm shooters for sale at GrabAGun.
