Anschutz 1712 Silhouette Features The Anschutz 1712 Silhouette is built around the renowned Match 54 action a design trusted by competitive shooters worldwide for its consistent lock time and smooth bolt cycling. A two stage 5109 trigger provides a light take up followed by a clean predictable break which helps shooters improve their consistency shot to shot. The 21.6 blued barrel with a 1:16.5 twist rate is optimized for standard velocity .22 LR ammunition delivering the accuracy silhouette and precision shooters demand. A 5 round detachable magazine keeps the action simple and reliable for repeated strings of fire. The Monte Carlo walnut stock gives the 1712 Silhouette a classic elegant profile while providing a raised cheek piece for a natural sight picture with a scope mounted. A rubber butt plate absorbs the modest recoil of the .22 LR cartridge and helps the rifle stay settled through repeated shots. At 7.3 pounds the rifle carries enough heft to stay steady on target without becoming a burden to carry in the field. Anschutz s reputation for precision manufacturing makes the 1712 Silhouette a trusted choice for shooters who want serious rimfire accuracy in a traditional wood stocked rifle.
