Because it is relatively lean, it should be cooked carefully to avoid it drying out. Our ground deer meat is supplied by American specialty meat distributor Broadleaf. They source gourmet meats from across the world, including Australian Wagyu beef, Texas wild boar and New Zealand Venison. They've spent several decades sourcing high quality venison from farms in New Zealand, where deer are free-ranging and fed a natural diet devoid of GMOs, hormones or chemicals.
