Fluting along the 26 inch barrel helps create the strongest lightweight barrel possible trimming weight while retaining the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy. The matte blued finish protects the steel barrel from weather and handling wear while giving it a traditional clean look. A 1 in 12 inch twist rate is matched to stabilize 360 Buckhammer projectiles effectively at hunting distances. This barrel is threaded 1/2x28 to accept a muzzle brake or other muzzle device helping tame recoil from the 360 Buckhammer cartridge for faster follow up shots. The barrel is drilled and tapped for scope mounts so no additional gunsmithing is required to add optics for precise shot placement. Every Pro Hunter barrel undergoes factory test firing at 100 yards to verify accuracy before reaching the customer.
