Thompson Center ProHunter XT Barrel Features The Thompson Center ProHunter XT Barrel is chambered in .50 caliber and built around 209 ignition a reliable primer-based ignition system favored by modern muzzleloader hunters for consistent ignition in all weather conditions. Its 28 inch length and 1 in 20 twist rate are tuned to stabilize a wide range of saboted bullets commonly used in big game hunting. The stainless steel construction stands up well to the corrosive byproducts of black powder and modern propellant combustion helping the barrel maintain accuracy and function season after season. This level of corrosion resistance is especially valuable for hunters who may not always have time to clean their muzzleloader immediately after a hunt. Designed to fit the ProHunter XT platform this barrel gives existing owners an accessible path to caliber flexibility or barrel replacement without purchasing an entirely new muzzleloader. The stainless steel finish also provides a bright easy to inspect surface that makes spotting fouling or wear straightforward during cleaning and maintenance. Thompson Center s long history in the muzzleloader market lends confidence to the fit and function of this replacement barrel. For ProHunter XT owners looking to expand their rifle s capability this .50 caliber stainless barrel is available for sale at GrabAGun.
