Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Barrel Features The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Barrel is machined from stainless steel and fluted along its 26 inch length a combination that trims weight from the front of the rifle without sacrificing the barrel s rigidity or accuracy potential. A 1:16 twist rate is tuned specifically for .350 Legend a straight-wall cartridge gaining popularity in states with straight-wall hunting regulations giving the shooter reliable stabilization of common factory bullet weights. Every barrel produced under the Pro Hunter line is factory test fired at 100 yards to confirm it meets accuracy standards before it ever reaches the shooter a level of quality control not every aftermarket barrel maker offers. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle makes the barrel suppressor ready right out of the box giving hunters an easy path to add a can for reduced recoil and noise. This barrel is designed specifically for the Encore series of frames and will not fit Contender or G2 Contender receivers so Encore ProHunter owners can install it without any gunsmithing or fitting required. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion better than a standard blued barrel which matters for hunters who spend extended time afield in wet or humid conditions. Swapping barrels on the Encore platform lets a single frame serve multiple hunting seasons and cartridges without the cost of a second complete rifle. For Encore ProHunter owners looking to add a dedicated .350 Legend option to their lineup this barrel delivers factory-verified accuracy in a durable suppressor-ready stainless package.
