Thompson Center ProHunter Rifle Barrel Features The Thompson Center ARC Threaded Barrel is chambered in 6mm ARC a cartridge gaining popularity for its flat trajectory and manageable recoil at extended ranges. Finished in stainless steel the barrel resists corrosion and holds up well to the heat generated during repeated strings of fire at the range or in the field. The fluted profile removes excess material along the barrel s length cutting weight and increasing surface area to help the barrel cool faster between shots. A 26 barrel length gives the 6mm ARC cartridge the room it needs to reach its full velocity potential which matters for hunters and long-range shooters alike. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 a common pattern for this bore size letting the shooter add a muzzle brake to tame recoil or a suppressor to cut down on noise and blast. Because it is built for the Encore and ProHunter switch-barrel system swapping it onto an existing frame is straightforward and does not require a separate action or receiver. This modularity is the core appeal of the Thompson Center platform letting one frame serve multiple cartridges simply by changing barrels. The Thompson Center ARC Threaded Barrel for ProHunter is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters looking to expand their switch-barrel rifle into the 6mm ARC cartridge.
