Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Barrel Features The Thompson Center Arms Barrel for the ProHunter is chambered in 25 Creedmoor and finished in stainless steel for excellent weather resistance in all field conditions. The 26 barrel carries a 1:7.5 twist tailored to stabilize the heavier higher BC bullets typical of the Creedmoor family and spiral fluting sheds weight without sacrificing rigidity. Every barrel is factory test fired at 100 yards to confirm it meets Thompson Center s accuracy standards before it leaves the shop. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle lets the shooter add a brake or suppressor without further gunsmithing. This barrel is built specifically for Encore series frames and installs without fitting letting ProHunter owners add 25 Creedmoor to their existing frame in minutes. The stainless steel finish pairs naturally with other stainless Encore components for a matched look. Because it will not fit Contender or G2 Contender frames shooters should confirm their receiver type before ordering. For Encore ProHunter owners chasing long-range accuracy in a weather resistant package this 25 Creedmoor barrel is a direct swap solution.
