Knight and Hale Barber s Cut Features The Knight and Hale Barber s Cut Mouth Call uses two prophylactic reeds set against a White tape and latex frame to produce a range of sounds from clear to raspy. The unique cut designed personally by Harold Knight requires less air than many diaphragm calls while still offering high and low end control for experienced and novice callers alike. To run it the caller places the call in the roof of the mouth with the printed logo facing up and the reeds facing out then applies tongue pressure while pushing air from the throat. Saying the words chick or chuck with even rhythm produces a yelp while puck produces a cluck letting hunters build a full vocabulary of turkey sounds from one call. Each call is handmade in the USA reflecting Harold Knight s decades of experience crafting calls that hold up in the field season after season. The aluminum frame and prophylactic reed construction are built for durability while keeping the call comfortable for extended use in the blind. If the call feels too large for the caller s mouth the tape can be trimmed up to one sixteenth of an inch for a custom fit. This Barber s Cut call gives turkey hunters a reliable field-tested option for closing the distance on wary gobblers.
