Knight and Hale Half Moon Split V Features The Knight and Hale Half Moon Split V combines two proven reed cut styles into one three-reed diaphragm call delivering a clear sound with very little rasp compared to single-style cut designs. This blend makes the call well suited to producing smooth cuts and high-pitched yelps while also functioning as a reliable kee-kee call for fall and spring hunts alike. The latex reeds are set in an aluminum frame a combination designed for consistent vibration and a crisp authentic turkey sound across repeated calls. Because it operates hands-free once placed correctly hunters can keep both hands on their shotgun or bow ready to react the instant a tom closes the distance. Hunters position the call in the roof of the mouth with the printed Knight and Hale logo facing up and the reeds facing out then apply tongue pressure and air from the throat to produce kee-kee yelp and cluck sounds with even rhythm. If the call feels too large for a given hunter s mouth the tape can be trimmed up to 1/16 inch for a more comfortable secure fit. Handmade in the USA the Half Moon Split V reflects Knight and Hale s long standing attention to detail in turkey call construction. For hunters seeking one diaphragm call that handles both subtle and aggressive vocalizations this call is a dependable addition to any turkey vest.
