Knight and Hale Hoot Extender Features The Knight and Hale Hoot Extender Turkey Locator Call is built from a hand-turned cherry body that produces authentic true-to-life owl hoots and laughs capable of triggering a shock gobble from a roosted tom. Shock gobbles are a key tool for locating turkeys before daylight or just before sundown letting hunters pinpoint a bird s position without pressuring it. A removable tip allows for advanced calling techniques giving experienced hunters additional versatility beyond the basic hoot sequence. The call is operated by grasping it at the front of the chamber with the thumb and first finger then blowing while following the classic rhythm of an owl s call. Fluttering the tongue at the end of the sequence produces a natural rolling sound that closely mimics a genuine owl increasing the odds of eliciting a response from nearby gobblers. Because the call works purely as a mechanical locator rather than relying on batteries or electronics it remains simple durable and dependable across every hunting season. Its hand-turned wood construction gives it a classic look and feel that appeals to traditional turkey hunters. Hand made in the USA the Knight and Hale Hoot Extender is a trusted tool for hunters serious about locating gobblers before making their move.
