Like every Aimpoint sight, it is operationally parallax-free: the dot stays parallel to the bore no matter where your eye sits behind the window, so if the dot is on the target, so is your zero. In the box you get: QRP2 mount and spacer, rubber bikini lens cover, killFlash anti-reflection device, AA battery, Allen key. Add the Aimpoint CompM4s 2 MOA sight to your cart at BattleHawk Armory and set your firearm up with an optic that professionals have trusted for decades. 2 MOA Aiming Point and Daylight-Bright Clarity The 2 MOA dot is the heart of the CompM4s. A dot this size covers little of the target at distance for precise shots while staying easy to pick up quickly at close range. The sight offers 7 night vision compatible settings and 9 daylight settings, so you can turn the dot down for use behind night vision devices or up for bright sunlight. Night vision compatibility makes it a natural fit for low-light and professional use. Battery Life and Power The CompM4s runs on a single AA battery and is rated for 80,000 hours (over 8 years) of constant operation. In practice, that means many shooters can leave the sight switched on and replace the battery on a set schedule rather than worrying about whether the optic will be ready when it is needed. Low battery compartment design. Long run time is one of the main reasons Aimpoint sights are chosen for duty guns, home defense firearms and hunting rifles that need to be ready without fuss. Built Rugged for Hard Use The housing is hard-anodized aluminum alloy, and the sight is submersible to 150 feet (45 meters). Aimpoint designs its sights to stand up to recoil, impacts, weather and temperature swings, which is why so many military, law enforcement and civilian shooters rely on them.
