Aimpoint Micro T-2, 2 MOA Red Dot Sight, No Mount, Black The Aimpoint Micro T-2 is a 1X, non-magnifying red dot reflex sight with a 2 MOA aiming point, built for patrol rifles, AR-15 carbines, shotguns and other long guns. This listing is Aimpoint part number 200180, sold as the sight only with no mount, finished in Black. Like every Aimpoint sight, it is operationally parallax-free: the dot stays parallel to the bore no matter where your eye sits behind the window, so if the dot is on the target, so is your zero. In the box you get: Flip-up lens covers, CR2032 battery, Micro tool. No mount is included, so plan on pairing the sight with a compatible mount or adapter. Add the Aimpoint Micro T-2 2 MOA sight to your cart at BattleHawk Armory and set your firearm up with an optic that professionals have trusted for decades. 2 MOA Aiming Point and Daylight-Bright Clarity The 2 MOA dot is the heart of the Micro T-2. A dot this size covers little of the target at distance for precise shots while staying easy to pick up quickly at close range. The sight offers 1 off position, 4 night vision compatible settings and 8 daylight settings, so you can turn the dot down for use behind night vision devices or up for bright sunlight. Night vision compatibility makes it a natural fit for low-light and professional use. Battery Life and Power The Micro T-2 runs on a single CR2032 battery and is rated for 50,000 hours (over 5 years) of constant operation on setting 8. In practice, that means many shooters can leave the sight switched on and replace the battery on a set schedule rather than worrying about whether the optic will be ready when it is needed. Long run time is one of the main reasons Aimpoint sights are chosen for duty guns, home defense firearms and hunting rifles that need to be ready without fuss. Built Rugged for Hard Use The housing is hard-anodized high strength aluminum, and the sight is submersible to 80 feet (25 meters). It operates from -49 to +160 degrees F. Aimpoint designs its sights to stand up to recoil, impacts, weather and temperature swings, which is why so many military, law enforcement and civilian shooters rely on them. Key Features Advanced optical lenses for enhanced light transmission and dot clarity. Recessed lenses with flip-up covers, front solid and rear transparent, so you can shoot with both eyes open even with the caps closed. Reinforced turret protection. Compatible with all generations of night vision devices and the Aimpoint 3XMag-1 and 6XMag-1 magnifiers. Mounting and Fit This version of the Micro T-2 ships without a mount. That suits shooters who already own a mount, want a specific height or quick-detach system, or plan to use a dedicated mount for their platform. Browse our red dot optic mounts to complete the setup.
