Like every Aimpoint sight, it is operationally parallax-free: the dot stays parallel to the bore no matter where your eye sits behind the window, so if the dot is on the target, so is your zero. In the box you get: Interchangeable base plates, base plate selection tool, CR2032 battery. Add the Aimpoint Acro S-2 9 MOA sight to your cart at BattleHawk Armory and set your firearm up with an optic that professionals have trusted for decades. 9 MOA Aiming Point and Daylight-Bright Clarity The 9 MOA dot is the heart of the Acro S-2. A large dot is fast to see against open sky and helps you read lead on crossing targets with both eyes open. The sight offers 10 intensity settings, so you can turn the dot down for use behind night vision devices or up for bright sunlight. Battery Life and Power The Acro S-2 runs on a single CR2032 battery and is rated for 50,000 hours (over 5 years) of constant operation. In practice, that means many shooters can leave the sight switched on and replace the battery on a set schedule rather than worrying about whether the optic will be ready when it is needed. Long run time is one of the main reasons Aimpoint sights are chosen for duty guns, home defense firearms and hunting rifles that need to be ready without fuss. Built Rugged for Hard Use The housing is anodized high strength aluminum, semi-matte black, and the sight is submersible to 15 feet (5 meters). Aimpoint designs its sights to stand up to recoil, impacts, weather and temperature swings, which is why so many military, law enforcement and civilian shooters rely on them.
