Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic, 2 MOA Red Dot Sight, No Mount, Black The Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO) is a 1X, non-magnifying red dot reflex sight with a 2 MOA aiming point, built for patrol rifles, AR-15 carbines, shotguns and other long guns. This listing is Aimpoint part number 200977, sold as the sight only with no mount, finished in Black. Like every Aimpoint sight, it is operationally parallax-free: the dot stays parallel to the bore no matter where your eye sits behind the window, so if the dot is on the target, so is your zero. In the box you get: Flip-up lens covers, DL1/3N battery, Allen key. No mount is included, so plan on pairing the sight with a compatible mount or adapter. Add the Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO) 2 MOA sight to your cart at BattleHawk Armory and set your firearm up with an optic that professionals have trusted for decades. 2 MOA Aiming Point and Daylight-Bright Clarity The 2 MOA dot is the heart of the Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO). A dot this size covers little of the target at distance for precise shots while staying easy to pick up quickly at close range. The sight offers 4 night vision compatible settings and 6 daylight settings, so you can turn the dot down for use behind night vision devices or up for bright sunlight. Night vision compatibility makes it a natural fit for low-light and professional use. Battery Life and Power The Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO) runs on a single DL1/3N battery and is rated for 30,000 hours (over 3 years) of constant operation on setting 7. In practice, that means many shooters can leave the sight switched on and replace the battery on a set schedule rather than worrying about whether the optic will be ready when it is needed. Long run time is one of the main reasons Aimpoint sights are chosen for duty guns, home defense firearms and hunting rifles that need to be ready without fuss. Built Rugged for Hard Use The housing is hard-anodized high strength aluminum, and the sight is submersible to 150 feet (45 meters). Aimpoint designs its sights to stand up to recoil, impacts, weather and temperature swings, which is why so many military, law enforcement and civilian shooters rely on them.
