The Elan Truflex 76 LS Ski, EL 10. 0 GW Shift Binding, and Nordica The Cruise Ski Boot make up an all-mountain ski package for newer skiers, with a forgiving ski, a binding suited to beginners through intermediates, and a soft-flex boot. The boot's alpine DIN soles go straight into the binding's alpine boot compatibility, and a dual soft-flap instep opens the boot wide for easy entry. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've seen first-season days end early because of sore feet, and the wide last and the liner that can be customized head that off, while the ski's forgiving profile keeps the turns manageable late in the day. That's why I'd start a newer skier on this package."
