The Elan Ripstick 88 Ski comes matched with the Defiance 11 GripWalk Binding and S/Pro Supra 80 Boot, so an advanced-rated ski still starts from a forgiving, comfortable place. The ski's Tubelite woodcore and carbon reinforcement keep it light and responsive without turning harsh under pressure, while the Supra 80's deep-flexing 80 boot and pre-shaped liner stay soft and easy through a full day of laps. Nothing about this setup demands advanced technique before it earns its keep. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I stayed relaxed through a full day of groomers and afternoon chop, the boot never fought my shin and the ski never felt twitchy underneath me. When I finally pushed a little harder on the last run, the ski had more to give than I'd used all day."
