"Men's Puma® Deviate Pure Nitro: The Puma Deviate Pure Nitro is a lightweight neutral running shoe that brings a responsive, flexible feel to tempo runs and speed workouts. If you want a shoe that moves fast without locking you into a rigid ride, this is worth a look. The NITROFOAM™ midsole - a one-piece nitrogen-infused foam design without a plate - keeps the shoe light on your foot and smooth through each stride, making it a natural fit for up-tempo training days when you want to push the pace but still feel comfortable doing it.At 7.76 ounces, the Deviate Pure Nitro stays out of your way when you're moving fast. The 38 mm heel and 30 mm forefoot stack gives you enough cushioning to handle harder efforts without making the shoe feel heavy or slow. The engineered mesh upper wraps the foot with a breathable, secure fit, and the collar and padded tongue keep things comfortable from the first mile to the last. Underfoot, the PUMAGRIP® outsole uses a durable rubber compound with expanded coverage and a lug design that holds traction confidently on road surfaces. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took the Deviate Pure Nitro out for a tempo run and was surprised by how light it felt without sacrificing cushioning.
