"Men's Puma® Deviate Nitro Elite 4 HYROX: The Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 HYROX is a neutral fitness racing shoe built specifically for the demands of HYROX competition - where you need to run hard, push sleds, and move through stations without losing efficiency. At 6.8 ounces with a 40mm heel and 32mm forefoot stack, it carries the cushioning of a performance running shoe while being tuned for the lateral and multi-directional demands that standard road shoes aren't built to handle. The foundation is NITROFOAM™ ELITE, Puma's nitrogen-infused foam tuned with firmer durometers than the standard Deviate lineup - responsive and energy-returning without feeling soft underfoot when you're loading into a sled push. A full-length carbon-fiber PWRPLATE stiffens the forefoot and keeps your stride efficient whether you're running splits between stations or transitioning under load. The PUMAGRIP outsole uses increased rubber coverage with a lug pattern updated for sled movements, giving you reliable grip on gym floors and turf. The ULTRAWEAVE upper is lightweight and structured - breathable enough for high-output efforts, with enough lockdown to keep your foot from shifting during multi-directional movement. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these through a full HYROX-style workout and the grip during sled pushes was immediately noticeable - my foot stayed planted in a way that most running shoes just don't allow. The foam feels firm and responsive, not soft, which actually makes sense when you're doing more than just running."" - Sean, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Chula VistaWho It's Best ForIf you compete in HYROX or train for fitness racing events that mix running with functional movements, the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 HYROX is worth a close look. It's a neutral shoe, so it works best for runners who don't need added stability correction, and it's designed for road and gym surfaces rather than trail. The firmer foam tuning and carbon plate make it a strong choice for athletes who want a shoe that performs on the run and holds up under the grip and lateral demands of sled work and loaded carries.
