"Women's Puma® Deviate Nitro Elite 4: The Women's Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is a lightweight neutral road running shoe built for race day and fast efforts. If you're chasing a PR or stepping up to a faster shoe for 5Ks, half-marathons, or marathons, this is the kind of shoe that earns its place on the starting line. At 4.9 ounces, it barely registers on your foot, and the combination of cushioning and propulsion makes every mile feel purposeful. The NITROFOAM™ Elite midsole uses nitrogen-infused foam to keep the ride soft and cushioned without adding weight - so you get real underfoot comfort without the bulk that slows you down. A full-length carbon fiber PWRPLATE stiffens the midsole and channels energy forward at toe-off, giving each stride a snappy, propulsive feel that keeps momentum working in your favor. The ULTRAWEAVE upper wraps the foot securely with a breathable, low-bulk fit that stays locked down when your pace picks up. PUMAGRIP on the outsole holds traction on road surfaces without adding unnecessary weight to the platform. With a 40 mm heel and 32 mm forefoot stack, there's meaningful cushioning underfoot without sacrificing the ground feel that faster running demands. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 during a race and noticed right away how light it felt on my foot. The PWRPLATE gives you a real snap at toe-off - not subtle at all. And even late in the race, the cushioning still felt responsive rather than dead. It's a serious race shoe."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner looking for a lightweight, fast shoe for race day or speed training, the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is worth a close look.
