Knight and Hale HD Hen Features The Knight and Hale HD Hen W-Cut Mouth Call uses three latex reeds arranged in a W-cut pattern a design that increases the vibrating surface area of the reeds to produce a broader range of tones from a single call. That expanded reed area is what allows the call to generate both raspy two-tone yelps and softer quieter clucks and purrs without switching calls mid-hunt. Because the call is operated hands-free held against the roof of the mouth a hunter can keep both hands on the shotgun or bow and stay still while calling reducing movement that can spook approaching birds. The aluminum frame holds the reeds in a consistent position call after call helping maintain reliable sound production over time. Handmade in the USA the HD Hen W-Cut is built using techniques intended to create realistic lifelike turkey vocalizations rather than the flat artificial tones of a poorly tuned call. The latex reed material is known for its durability and its ability to produce raspy tones that closely mimic a live hen turkey. The call s design makes it approachable for beginners just learning diaphragm calling while still offering enough tonal range to satisfy experienced callers working difficult birds. The Knight and Hale HD Hen W-Cut Mouth Call is a versatile all-purpose turkey call for sale at GrabAGun for hunters at any skill level.
