Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN bullpup rifle uses an integrated receiver with the same barrel mounting and clamping mechanism found on Desert Tech s SRS and HTI precision rifle families machined directly into the receiver for a solid repeatable barrel interface. The gas-operated action cycles 5.56 NATO through a 30+1 capacity magazine and the 16 inch barrel is finished in a black Steel Threaded profile with a 1/2x28 thread pattern for muzzle devices. A 1:7 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights while the Raiden Tri-Prong Flash Hider helps reduce visible muzzle flash during low light engagements. Full ambidexterity extends to the charging handle magazine release buttons bolt catch and safety selector giving left and right-handed shooters identical control access. The bullpup layout keeps the WLVRN s 26 inch overall length remarkably short for a rifle with a 16 inch barrel improving maneuverability in tight spaces compared to a traditional rifle layout. An M-LOK handguard and a Picatinny rail on the receiver provide mounting space for optics lights and other accessories. Black polymer furniture covers the chassis stock and grip giving the rifle a uniform rugged appearance suited to hard use. Weighing 7.43 lbs the WLVRN ships with a Magpul PMAG a WLVRN maintenance tool and a user manual giving shooters everything needed to get the rifle running right out of the box.
