Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN chambers 223 Rem / 5.56 NATO and feeds from a 30 round magazine giving the shooter a generous ammunition supply in a rifle that measures just 26 inches overall thanks to its bullpup layout. The 16 inch chrome moly steel barrel carries a 1:7 twist rate suited to a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights and it is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a Raiden Tri-Prong Flash Hider to manage muzzle signature. Gas operation cycles the action reliably and the barrel mounting and clamping system is lifted directly from Desert Tech s SRS and HTI precision rifles bringing a level of mechanical rigor not often found in a semi-automatic bullpup. A mil-spec style trigger breaking at roughly 4 pounds gives the shooter a consistent predictable press shot after shot. Full ambidexterity is built into the WLVRN s aluminum receiver with the charging handle magazine release bolt catch and safety selector all placed for use by right or left-handed shooters alike. The Flat Dark Earth polymer chassis is finished to match the Flat Dark Earth anodized receiver creating a cohesive field-ready look while the M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny top rail provide mounting space for lights optics and other accessories. At 7.43 pounds and 1.69 inches wide the rifle stays maneuverable without feeling flimsy in hand. Every WLVRN ships with a Magpul PMAG a dedicated maintenance tool and a user manual giving shooters everything needed to get the rifle running right out of the box.
