Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN integrates the barrel mounting system directly into its aluminum receiver rather than relying on a separate barrel nut and extension which significantly stiffens the upper and is the core of its claimed 30 percent accuracy improvement over earlier Desert Tech bullpups. A gas operating semi-automatic action cycles the 20 black nitride steel threaded barrel which carries a 1 in 10 twist and ends in a ratchet compensator that helps tame recoil and muzzle rise. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a wide range of aftermarket suppressors and brakes for shooters who want to further manage recoil or sound signature. A 4 lb trigger pull keeps the rifle crisp and predictable for precision work at distance. The WLVRN s bullpup layout holds the action behind the grip trimming the rifle down to a 30 overall length despite the full 20 barrel a real advantage moving through vehicles and tight spaces. An M-LOK handguard and a top Picatinny rail in tungsten Cerakote give shooters room to mount optics lights and other accessories exactly where they need them. Black polymer furniture including the stock and grip keeps the overall weight to 7.63 lbs despite the rifle s rigid aluminum receiver. Ambidextrous safety controls and a 10+1 capacity round out a package built for shooters who want a shorter stiffer more accurate bullpup rifle without giving up .308 Win performance.
