Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN integrates the barrel mounting system directly into the receiver a design that significantly increases the stiffness of the upper receiver and improves accuracy by up to 30 percent over conventional bullpup layouts. The 20 black nitride steel barrel is cut with a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem bullet weights and a ratchet compensator helps control recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. A gas operating system cycles the action reliably across ammunition types and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts standard suppressors and muzzle devices. The bullpup layout keeps the 30 overall length short for a 20 barrel making the rifle easier to maneuver in tight spaces without sacrificing ballistic performance. The receiver is finished in Tungsten Cerakote over an aluminum body giving a durable corrosion resistant exterior along with a top Picatinny rail for mounting optics. An M-LOK handguard provides mounting space for lights lasers and other accessories while the black polymer stock and grip keep the overall weight manageable at 7.78 lbs. A selector switch safety and an adjustable 4 lb trigger pull give the shooter precise repeatable control over the trigger break. With a 10+1 capacity this CA-compliant configuration is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a compact accurate semi-automatic bullpup rifle.
