Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN uses a barrel mounting and clamping mechanism drawn directly from the proven SRS and HTI family of precision rifles machining that system integrally into the receiver for a solid repeatable barrel fit. A gas operating system cycles the 20 inch chrome moly steel barrel which is threaded 5/8x24 and carries a black finish along with a 1:8 inch twist rate suited to a range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights. The Ratchet Compensator helps manage recoil and muzzle rise during rapid fire while the M-LOK accessory rail and receiver-top Picatinny rail give shooters mounting options for optics and accessories. A mil-spec trigger breaking around 4 pounds and a selector switch safety round out the rifle s core operating controls. Full ambidexterity extends across every major control with the charging handle magazine release buttons bolt catch and safety selector all placed for either-handed operation. The bullpup layout keeps the WLVRN compact at just 30 inches overall despite the full 20 inch barrel making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces than a traditional rifle of comparable barrel length. The polymer chassis and black polymer grip are finished in flat dark earth matching the flat dark earth anodized aluminum receiver for a cohesive rugged appearance. Feeding from a 20+1 round capacity magazine and including a maintenance tool and user manual the WLVRN is ready for shooters who want a modern compact 6.5 Creedmoor semi-automatic platform.
