Auto Ordnance 1927A-1C Lightweight Deluxe Features The Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1C Lightweight Deluxe reproduces the iconic Thompson silhouette with a frame and receiver machined from aluminum alloy cutting significant weight compared to the original steel design. The 16.5 inch finned barrel includes the classic Cutts-style compensator look that defines the Thompson s profile and the fixed blade front sight pairs with an adjustable rear sight for aimed shots. Chambered in .45 ACP the carbine feeds from a 20 round detachable stick magazine with one magazine included. The top charging handle and vertical front grip preserve the authentic operating feel of the original submachine gun design. Walnut grain polymer furniture gives the carbine the warm classic look of real walnut while offering far greater durability and resistance to weather and wear. This lightweight polymer construction combined with the aluminum receiver makes the 1927A1C dramatically lighter and easier to handle than the original steel and wood Thompson. The blued metal finish complements the furniture for a cohesive period-correct appearance. Overall length comes in at 41 inches making this carbine a manageable well-balanced firearm for range use. Built for collectors and shooting enthusiasts alike the Thompson 1927A-1C Lightweight Deluxe carries forward over a century of Thompson heritage in a package suited to modern shooters. The reduced weight makes it considerably easier to carry and shoot for extended range sessions compared to the original military pattern guns. A thumb safety provides an added layer of control during handling. This rifle is available for sale at GrabAGun for collectors and shooters who want a piece of firearms history that is lighter and more practical to run.
