Auto-Ordnance TM1 Navy 250th Anniversary Features The Auto-Ordnance TM1 Navy 250th Anniversary carries forward the semi-automatic operating system that made the original Thompson carbine famous cycling reliably in .45 ACP while feeding from the included 20-round and 30-round stick magazines. The rifle will not accept drum magazines keeping the design faithful to the stick-fed carbine configuration while still delivering the ammunition capacity serious shooters expect from a 30+1 round gun. A blade front sight paired with a fixed battle rear sight offers a simple rugged sighting system that mirrors the original wartime carbine and the safety lever provides straightforward positive control during handling. At 11.5 lbs the carbine carries authentic heft that helps manage recoil during range sessions and living-history events alike. Beyond its mechanics this special edition is defined by its custom laser-engraved artwork applied to the walnut stock and grip to commemorate 250 years of naval heritage with anchors stars and historic battle imagery. The Arctic White and Savage Stainless Cerakote finish covers both the barrel and receiver in a durable corrosion-resistant coating that stands apart from a traditional blued Thompson while still protecting the steel components from the elements. The engraved wood grip and fixed walnut stock are shaped for a secure traditional carbine hold giving the shooter authentic control points reminiscent of the original M1 Carbine design. Together these details make the TM1 Navy 250th Anniversary as much a display piece for a den or collection as it is a shooter for the range.
