Traditions Buckstalker XT Features The Traditions Buckstalker XT is built around the Accelerator Breech Plug a one piece stainless steel design that removes in three turns by hand with no tools required for cleaning or maintenance. This breech plug allows the shooter to fire both loose and pelletized powder adding flexibility depending on what is available or preferred for a given hunt. The Elite XT trigger system delivers a precise accurate break while the rebounding hammer and manual cross block trigger safety work together as a Dual Safety System giving hunters confidence when carrying a loaded muzzleloader afield. A 1-28 barrel twist rate stabilizes saboted bullets for improved downrange accuracy on game at typical muzzleloader ranges. TruGlo fiber optic front and rear sights give the Buckstalker XT a bright fast sight picture in the low light conditions common during dawn and dusk hunts. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting letting hunters add an optic for improved precision on longer shots. A black composite stock and blue metal finish keep the rifle durable and low maintenance in wet or muddy field conditions. The Buckstalker XT also includes the Quick-T Ramrod Handle which functions like a palm saver and t-handle in one for easier more comfortable loading in the field.
