Traditions Vortek StrikerFire Features The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire eliminates the external hammer found on traditional muzzleloaders letting shooters cock the action by simply sliding the striker button forward until it locks. A recessed de-cocking button offers quick quiet de-cocking and the rifle automatically de-cocks whenever the action is opened for an added layer of safety. The two-stage TAC2 trigger is widely regarded as one of the best trigger systems available on a muzzleloader giving shooters a clean competition-style break. The 28-inch VAPR taper-fluted barrel is rifled with a faster 1:24-inch twist rate improving bullet stabilization and expanding the range of compatible projectiles. A one-piece Accelerator breech plug and 209 primer ignition system provide reliable consistent ignition shot after shot while the Speed Load System and included Quick-T ramrod handle make loading faster and more comfortable in the field. The rifle ships with a factory-mounted 3-9x40mm scope giving hunters a complete ready-to-hunt package without a separate optics purchase. Finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote over a synthetic stock in the Veil Wideland camo pattern the StrikerFire pairs a distinctive look with genuine field durability. Sling swivel studs come standard and the dual safety system adds extra confidence when carrying a loaded muzzleloader afield.
